What the killzones are

ICT (Inner Circle Trader) teaching uses fixed windows of New York time when price often makes its move of the session: the Asian killzone 20:00–00:00, the London killzone 02:00–05:00, the New York AM killzone 07:00–10:00, the London close 10:00–12:00 and the New York PM session 13:30–16:00. The Silver Bullet hours (03:00–04:00, 10:00–11:00 and 14:00–15:00) are one-hour windows where ICT traders look for a fair value gap after a liquidity sweep. These are the same windows ICC Charts draws on the chart and uses in its models (see killzones explained and the Silver Bullet).

Forex market hours

Forex trades from Sunday 17:00 to Friday 17:00 New York time. The busiest hours are the London session and the overlap of London and New York, when spreads are tight and moves are larger. The quiet hours after New York close often have wider spreads.

Times follow each city's own clock, so they shift for you when Europe, the US or Australia change to summer time on different dates. Market holidays are not shown.

What is the London killzone time in Pakistan?

02:00–05:00 New York time, which is 11:00–14:00 in Pakistan when the US is on summer time (March to early November) and 12:00–15:00 in winter. The table above shows today's time.

What is the New York killzone time in Pakistan?

07:00–10:00 New York time: 16:00–19:00 PKT in US summer time and 17:00–20:00 PKT in winter.

When does the forex market open in Pakistan?

Sunday 17:00 New York time: Monday 02:00 PKT in US summer time and 03:00 PKT in winter. It closes on Friday 17:00 New York time (Saturday 02:00 or 03:00 PKT).
